a great atlas - it's big [A3 sized], the maps are detailed and, best of all, it's spiral bound, so you can fold the pages inside out, without worrying about them becoming detatched from the spine.
i wasn't so keen on the obvious advertising tie-ins tho'. the atlas features a large, ugly, full-page ikea advert on the back cover and the locations of ikea shops [along with other such cultural highlights as macdonalds and little chef restaurants] are prominently displayed on each map. this may be ideal if your idea of putting a road atlas through its paces is to nip down the motorway for a flat-pack wardrobe and a cheeseburger, but personally i found it a bit tacky - especially from a venerable organisation like the AA!
