This book wasn't right for me. I have an 11 year old son with coeliac disease and need to do family meals and baking. The recipes in this book are mostly too fancy for me - too complicated, too many ingredients, ingredients I can't easily get (chestnut flour, potato flour, rice flour) and the recipes are more for 'chef-style' entertaining (pheasant, red mullet...). There are too many recipes in here which are soups, salads and main meals which are easier to do gluten-free anyway (eg roast chicken, risotto), and could do with more cake/biscuit/pudding recipes where I need more help. |
